To apply nails with glue make sure you prep your nail by buffing them with a nail buffer to create texture for the sticky tab to grip onto, and use an alcohol wipe to dehydrate your nail. View tutorial for prepping your nails for more details.
TIP: Apply thumbs last for easier control.
Dry-fit the nails. Before glue, place each press-on on the corresponding nail to confirm fit and orientation. File sides of the press-on now if they’re slightly big.
Apply glue to the natural nail OR press-on (two common methods):
Natural nail method: put a small drop of glue in the center of your natural nail and spread a tiny bit to the edges with the nozzle — not a flood.
Less is more — too much glue causes overflow and poor sealing.
Place the press-on. Line up the cuticle edge first, then press down from cuticle to tip so it seats without trapping air.
Hold firmly for 15–30 seconds with pressure (press and hold center + edges). For best initial bond, hold longer rather than tapping.
Check edges: use your finger to run along the sidewalls and ensure no gap. If you see glue squeeze out, immediately wipe excess with a lint-free wipe dipped in acetone or alcohol.
Repeat for all nails.
How to remove
Soak
Place nails in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes.
Loosen
Gently wiggle each nail from side to side — do not pull straight up.
Lift
Use a cuticle stick to slowly lift from the sides once loose.
Repeat if needed
If a nail feels stuck, soak a few more minutes and try again.
Remove residue
Roll off leftover adhesive or gently push it off with a cuticle stick.
Tip: Add cuticle oil around the edges to help nails slide off more easily.
